Fasting stimulate weight gain

What have been your experiences with this? What works well for you? How often? How long? What were the results? ..etc

I've seen plenty of research that shows health benefits for fasting periodically I I'd like to take advantage of them without losing weight, and possibly use it to stimulate weight gain.

Of course, most of this research is geared toward using fasting as a tool for losing, and not gaining weight.

Fasting periodically has also been recommended here as a way to help stimulate weight gain or break through plateaus, and I think it might be worthwhile to come up with a few best guesses as to how to best take advantage of it.

I think finding out what's worked best for people who've already successfully used fasting to stimulate weight gain is a good start. ( ...and there might not be any reason to go beyond that. )
